La guerre de Catherine

1941. Rachel étudie à l’internat de la maison de Sèvres, où ses parents l’ont placée par sécurité. Elle y noue de belles amitiés mais y découvre surtout sa passion, la photographie. Bientôt, les lois contre les Juifs s’intensifient, il n’y a plus de sécurité nulle part en zone occupée. Un réseau de résistants organise la fuite des enfants juifs. Du jour au lendemain, ils quittent tout et doivent oublier, le temps de la guerre, tout de leur vie d’avant, à commencer par leurs prénoms. Rachel devient Catherine. Raconte, lui intiment ses professeurs en l’envoyant sur les routes de la zone libre, un appareil photo à la main. C’est ainsi que nous découvrons le quotidien d’une adolescente juive dans la guerre, ses rencontres, ses peurs mais aussi les quelques moments de répit et de grâce que lui offrira son art.
